We stayed in a two bedroom apartment at Kashmir. The absolutely best thing about this residence was the convenience! Properly ski in/ski out with a ski shop for rentals and a boot room right on the side of the slope. So convenient with our young children. The reception area was lovely too for a drink in the evening whilst kids could play board games, making it more social than many others we have stayed in.
Ski Trip First Week of March 2020 - I have just returned from a week at Le Hameau De kashmir . I stayed in self catering accommodation. There were 4 adults. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was very well appointed with all the kitchen utensils you could want. More importantly the staff were friendly, professional and very attentive. A super hotel, great facilities(spa & sauna). I cannot recommend the hotel enough and really hope I can make it back next year.
First class service and accommodation - We stayed in the Hameau du Kashmir with our two children (6 and 3yrs) and were really impressed. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful and the check-in process was quick and easy. Our apartment was well-appointed and well-equipped with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is the added bonus of an oven as well as a microwave and dishwasher and a cleaning kit with dishwasher tablets were provided. There was good storage for a family of 4 and we the apartments were really soundproof so it was a nice quiet location. We only used the pool once but it was very quiet and the views were stunning. The location of the apartments is great on the blue run 'Plein Sud'. Quite tricky for a complete beginner but you can either take the bus to the slopes or go to level -5 and walk 5 minutes to the Rue Du Soleil where you can access the nursery slopes. The walk into the centre is just 5 minutes away which even with small children was easy. We loved the residence and will definitely be back!
A great stay, thank you! We arrived to Le Hameau on Saturday 15th February (half term) around 15:00. Check in was very quick & easy by polite & helpful staff. We had a two bedroom apartment booked through Ingham’s. Our apartment was No. 119 which was a corner apartment with a truly amazing view! We were a party of two couples & the apartment worked perfectly. Walking through the door to an open area where you could access the double en-suite room, a separate bathroom or finally the lounge/kitchen area which led to the other bedroom. There was everything you could need, very well equipped. We used the breakfast delivery of bread & pastries a few mornings. The bar area wasn’t too busy at any one time & always managed to sit down for a drink before a meal. We dined in the Beef & Lobster on two occasions & it was lovely. The spa, pool & sauna were great too! On site ski shop on level -5, friendly & helpful once again made getting our equipment effortless. A perfect individual ski locker for each room which was also heated for your boots! Would 100% return, a great location - Ski in & out! Thank you very much for a great holiday.
Fantastic hotel with everything you could possibly need for a ski holiday. The lockers are really good with dryers built in and the ski in ski out is quite possibly in the perfect place on the resort. The spa is also great and things and staff are very professional. Highly recommend.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Great space in the accommodation for the three valleys. Nice (but but huge) pool for the kids to play in and a choice of saunas. Ski in/ out with good size ski lockers. Only thing I could think of to improve would be to be closer to the centre of the resort, but the walk to the supermarkets is pretty easy as is getting to the lifts etc. Awesome stay 😊
Great Stay in a comfortable apartment Le Hameau du Kashmir is a great place to stay for families. We stayed in a self catering apartment with two bedrooms. The apartment wasn't as large as I was expecting and was split level. Very comfortable and warm apartment with a good kitchen with full sized oven, microwave and toaster. Although not large it was comfortable with a balcony on both levels. My only criticism of the apartment was the beds which were very firm but we got used to them by the end of the week! Good laundry room. For 12 euros you can do a full wash and dry with detergent included. Lovely pool and spa. We used the ski hire shop in the building which was very easy and convenient. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, always courteous and happy. I asked for two chairs for our balcony as it was so sunny and they were delivered within a few hours. The boot room has boot and glove criers which are fantastic with the door opening out onto a decked area on the side of the piste. The Kashmir sits on the side of the piste which takes you down to the main lifts so is true ski in and out weather permitting. It is a 10 minute walk into the town centre where you will find lots of supermarkets and takeaway places which makes self catering easy for a family. Would definitely recommend.
Had a fantastic time Skiing at Val Thorens. We stayed at Le Hameau du Kashmir hotel. What a gorgeous hotel. We stayed s3lf catering . The rooms were large. Plenty of space. We had a 2 bedroom apartment over the Christmas week. The hotel staff had placed balloons in the room on arrival for our daughter's birthday. Thank you so much. The beds are very comfortable. The apartment is really hot but a blast of cold air after skiing with the door open will cool it down soon. Our room had a large fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee filter machine, dishwasher, plenty of cutlery and plates. It had a ensuite to the main bedroom and a bathroom with bath and over bwtb shower. The hotel is located on a steep slope so if your a beginner skier like me you may find it quite too steep to ski down. But don't let that put you off staying at the hotel as there is another easier way of getting down. The hotel provide a heated ski locker per room in the ski room.. We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the pool is gorgeous. Beautiful views from the rooms. I highly recommend staying at Kashmir hotel. Also get your own dressing gown and slippers. Thank you for a lovely welcoming stay Kashmir xx
