Passo Tonale, Italy
Hotel Delle Alpi looks out on the enchanting area of Passo del Tonale, right in the centre of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.
Just a few metres from the ski slopes, the hotel is the best choice for winter sports enthusiasts – skiers, snowboarders, ski mountaineers – who wish to enjoy the beauty of the area together with their family, without giving up on exclusivity of services and accommodation.
Our friendly and polite staff is always ready and willing to help and show you the hotel and its facilities: a large restaurant with big, bright dining rooms and a menu rich in traditional and international dishes.
The play area and crèche for our youngest guests (and parents!), a cosy, well-stocked wine cellar, a tasting room for liqueurs and cigars, a lounge bar where to relax and a wide solarium with views to the mountains.
The restaurant of the Hotel Delle Alpi offers its guests a cuisine with a typical Italian menu that strongly enhances the local traditions of the Trentino and Lombardy regions.
Elegantly decorated and characterized by a strong appeal to the typical furniture of the area, the restaurant offers a rich breakfast buffet, especially for those guests looking forward to spending their day on the slopes.
Childcare is offered every day in our fabulous crèche facility: with toys, games, board games and enthusiastic staff, toddlers and children will have a great time in our Baby Club!
Children will be comfortably entertained under the supervision of our staff, while parents will relax and unwind in the bar area next door having the peace of mind that their little ones are safe and sound.
Our spa & wellness facilities include an indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool, a sauna, nordic waterfalls, steam bath, and a Himalayan salt room: this room simulates the environment of a therapeutic salt cave, with Himalayan salt covering the walls and floor to calm the mind and body by releasing negative ions.
The negatively charged ionized salt and trace minerals that are present in the cave's atmosphere are said to naturally draw toxins and impurities out of the body, reduce inflammation, and improve respiratory ailments like asthma by clearing the lungs.
Hotel with an excellent quality - price ratio ... very accurate cleaning ... excellent staff both at the reception and in the restaurant, always ready to intervene for the various needs of the customer ... professionalism and courtesy are evident within the structure that is very accurate and elegant ... and finally a big thank you to the owner Stefano for his availability and kindness.
January ski trip. Very pleasant hotel located a few minutes walk from a main chairlift ( quickest way is to jump on travellator to the left of ski shop when you come out of the boot room and cross the little bridge, then ski down the short distance, after riding chairlift this gets you to a point where you can ski down and across the main area to the paradiso gondola or gondola/ski to Ponte Delagano) Food is very good, salad buffet excellent. Rooms are simply furnished and very clean, lovely views of mountains to both front and rear of hotel. Good boot room and ski storage. Wellness area and Spa are of a very good standard. Staff are very helpful and attentive. From front of hotel, a short 10 minute walk down hill brings you to Adamello hotel ski bus stop, from here a bus departs at 8.45 and 9.45 to Marilleva, returning at 3.15 and 3.45. This bus is FREE and gets you to vast Campiglio ski area in 40 mins which is covered by passo tonale area pass for 1 day ( your pass will say 5 + 1 which means 5 days in Tonale and one day at a selection of other local areas, obviously you can still use the 6 day in Tonale area.
Excellent hotel, close to the slopes - Good room, excellent food and service. Convenient for the slopes and the nearest ski hire. Very good ski storage with great access to the pistes. Situated at far end of the ski area. Comprehensive breakfast. Good choices on the plat de jour.
Friendly place The hotel is modern, the staff is amazingly service minded and the SPA - five star is not enough for the treatments in the SPA. Stayed here for a week in February/March 2019, normally a busy week in the Alps but at the hotel you will feel like you are the only one. The room has most of what you need except for power outlets to charge your devices, two is not enough and there are no ones nere the beds. The rooms are clean, out bathroom big - love big bathrooms. The breakfast could be better and should offer more but We did not come for that. Had half board, well organized, most of the days you started out with a big salad buffet, ok the food was not amazing but the service was and at least I did not have to cook myself. The hotel is only a short walk from the slopes and ski rental is just outside. That’s perfect if you ask me. No need for ski bus. The SPA, we need to talk about the SPA, we almost missed that one but decided to spend the last afternoon there, if I should regret anything it’s just that I did not go earlier. The treatment I took for a sore back was top class, probably one of the best I ever had. Don’t miss the SPA!!!
Weeks skiing Just returned from a lovely stay at the Delle Alpi, the hotel is well located access to a lift to some lovely runs is only across the road and easy access to the bus stop for the shuttle bus that stops off all round the resort, our room was fab we had room 328 we paid the extra for the deluxe room and glad we did, it was a lovely corner room with plenty of space for storage a must when your skiing and have loads of gear, room was nicely decorated with an alpine theme, lovely big bathroom with great shower! However the view was the winner I will add some photos it was great to just sit in bed looking across the mountains! Our favourite thing however was the food every evening you got a choice from a menu of 3 starters and mains as well as a pudding and a full on buffet spread of salads veg etc that you could tuck into throughout the meal. The food was typically Italian some more basic meals and then some more fancier dishes each and every dish we had was tasty and the service from all In the restaurant was to a high standard, breakfast in the same room was good although did get a bit of the same thing every morning, would be good if they could add some porridge maybe? But that may just be us Brits that like that to get us ready for a days skiing. We used the spa one afternoon this was pleasant however we went down during family time and didn’t realise that children where allowed in the spa so if your after a chilled out time in the spa make sure you go down after 17:30. The bar area is by the main reception we didn’t really use it much as we found that area to be very cold and to be honest after the large meal and long day skiing we where ready for bed. Ski room had plenty of space for everyone’s kits and good boot racks that seemed to get the boots dry ready for the next day. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the resort and the hotel and we would recommend and would come back.
Modern well furnished hotel. Food is varied and excellent, including local specialities. There is a small swimming pool and indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis as well as steam room and sauna. Some rooms have balconies. A range of suites is available. Good for skiing, close to the slopes or easy access using the free shuttle bus. On the edge of the town which is a short walk away.
Great Hotel, nice service and clean rooms. There is a great spa and the hotel is close to the piste. Skis can be stored in a dedicated room downstairs.
