Together with my lady, we spent a week of great tranquillity in this small design hotel located a few steps from the Col dei Rossi and Ciampac ski lifts. Exquisite hospitality, maximum cleanliness and respect for the anti-covid19 protocol, with tasty and abundant breakfasts.
Thanks to all the staff.

Fantastic hotel. Flavia and the staff are very kind and welcoming, rooms and environments are treated in detail and the wellness area is truly regenerating. The breakfasts are a joy for sight and palate!

Everything about this hotel was perfect! Flavia and her team were wonderful hosts and had thought of all the little details that made a skiing holiday that little bit easier eg an allocated boot/ski cupboard in the boot room. The rooms were spacious and clean, the showers were luxurious, breakfast was divine (the cakes were luscious!) and the bar was cosy! The spa was just the icing on the cake - a real treat after a day on the slopes. Flavia also recommended and booked our large group some fantastic restaurants. We can’t wait to g back again! Thank you for such a wonderful stay,

Peace & Tranquility in the Dolomites - My home away from home in the Dolomites! From the moment you walk into the lobby you feel like you have entered a cozy plush Italian chalet in nestled in the Dolomite valley. Eating healthy is easy here as all of the food is homemade and fresh from the hosts oven. The spa is a hidden gem and is so private you may have it all to yourself! 5 stars for Chalet Vites!

Wonderful Friendly Hotel - We stayed at Chalet Vites Hotel last week. It is a 5 minute walk from the main cable car and bubble in Alba which gets you quickly onto the Sella Ronda etc. Also some lovely skiing off the back via the bubble towards Vigo la Fassa etc. A 5 minute bus ride into Canazei. The hotel is beautifully appointed inside and the prettiest building on the street - set nicely back from the road so you don’t hear traffic. We had a family room with a large balcony. Excellent shower, comfy beds and spotlessly clean. There is a wellness centre in the basement with steam rooms, sauna, gym, relaxation rooms etc. No pool but we didn’t mind. Also an excellent ski room with heated boot racks. The breakfasts are lovely - a full range of English and continental options and eggs and bacon on order done however you want. Flavia and her team are wonderful - some of the friendliest, most helpful people we have had the pleasure to come across on skiing holidays. The hotel has a comfortable bar and an open fire. Delightful!

An endeavor for perfection. With a ”booking-score” of 9.6, our expectations were high, and still, Flavia and her team exceeded expectations! Spotlessly maintained, pristine design. A mixture of Italian design and a mountain atmosphere in the common rooms and in the wellness. Personal and friendly contacts. Correct advise about restaurants. Top!

What a fab find this was! Lovely small hotel, think there are a dozen rooms. Staff, particularly Cristina, were incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent, rooms immaculate and a great shower. Highly recommend, local to everything you could need, from good restaurants to cable cars, cash machines to public transport. All good!

About Alba
Alba is a hamlet just outside Canazei (2 km) along the road to the Fedaia Pass at the feet of the Colac (2715 m) and the Gran Vernel Massif (3210 km).
The Ciampac ski area is linked directly to the Buffaure ski area (Pozza di Fassa) and, since the construction of the new cable-car Alba-Col dei Rossi, is connected to the ski area Belvedere and to the world-famous ski tour Sellaronda.
The name Alba means ‘rocky wall’, which refers to the rocky Dolèda ridge which overlooks the town and is characterised by its light colour.
The inhabitants of Alba are called ‘Roc’ since legend has it that, being extremely possessive of their properties, they fenced off their properties with wooden fences bound together with woven wicker laces, the famous ‘roc’.
