Chalet L'Arclusaz

Chalet Arclusaz is a charming Savoyard chalet, with 5 comfortable bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests.

The Chalet L’Arclusaz, located on Route du Laitelet in the charming village of Mottaret, lies at the heart of the Three Valleys ski area.

At 1750m altitude, Mottaret sits 300m higher than the centre of Méribel, making it the most snow-sure of all the villages in the Méribel Valley.

With the slopes and lifts, only a 5 minute walk away, in addition to a bus stop in front of the chalet, this chalet is the ideal location from which to explore all of this fabulous ski area.

The centre of Mottaret, which is also only 5 minutes walk away, boasts a decent offering of bars and restaurants, but if you’re looking to explore Méribel centre, there is a regular free shuttle bus which departs from just outside the chalet.

This traditional Savoyard chalet oozes mountain charm and comfort. Upon entering on the ground floor, there is a ski and boot room for safely storing your equipment, as well as a communal toilet.

Follow the entrance hall through and on the right, there is a fully equipped kitchen, with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and toaster (a washing machine is also available) and a separate dining room with a large table, perfect for enjoying meals with friends and family.

The living room is cosy and inviting with its roaring fireplace, is the perfect place to relax and play games with friends, or enjoy a good film on the wide-screen television after a tiring day on the mountain.

The doors in the living room open onto a huge south-facing balcony, perfect for soaking up the winter sun and enjoying the picturesque views of the Méribel valley.

On the 1st floor you'll find 2 bedrooms sharing a shower room and toilet, the first with twin beds and the second with a double bed and its own balcony.

Follow the stairs down to the lower ground floor, where there are three spacious double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room and toilet.

For some added luxury, you’ll find an indoor hot tub and sauna, as well as a downstairs shower and toilet.

If you’re arriving by car, there is space for 3 cars to park outside the chalet and if you still require more space, there is a free outdoor car park just 2 minutes walk away.

About Meribel-Mottaret

The French ski resort of Méribel is in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,450m, with 150km of marked runs. Méribel is part of the Three Valleys ski area with access to 600km of downhill skiing, with 497 marked pistes, served by a total of 180 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Méribel itself (150km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Three Valleys ski resorts of Courchevel, La Tania, Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville and Val Thorens. Méribel comprises the villages of Méribel Centre, Méribel Les Allues, Méribel Les Hauts, Méribel Mottaret and Méribel Village.
