Nov 2021The hotel is beautifully designed and has a great view of the Mont Blanc massif. They have an in-house restaurant, which is quite good, and an excellent bakery, where you can pick up freshly made cakes, baguettes and pastries. But what really sets this hotel apart is the service — truly outstanding! From the check-in, to the concierge, to the check-out, absolutely the best.

Jan 2020Unassuming from the outside, this hotel is beautifully appointed inside. A tremendous amount of thought went into designing the rooms and facilities. It has a classic and luxurious chalet feel but is thoroughly modern, with outlets in all the right places, a Japanese toilet, giant television, B&O sound system, electric shutters and windows. My partner and I stayed in the junior suite that had a fireplace and it was a joy to end the evening with a warm fire. Literally, every staff provided exceptional service. They go above and beyond to be friendly, helpful and accommodating. To give an example: we arrived without having made any ski preparations or reservations. They made it an absolute breeze to get us fitted with rental equipment, an excellent ski instructor (Alexis), and transported us to and from the ski lift every day (alternatively, you could walk two minutes to one that is nearby). Upon returning every day, someone would be ready at the dedicated “Ski Room” to help us with our equipment and to place it into our private locker, where the equipment is left to dry. They really helped take the stress out of skiing. We were pleasantly surprised that staying at L'Armancette was also a gastronomic experience. I’m sure the restaurant is on its way to earning a Michelin star. Great cuisine and sommeliers who were always happy to recommend a perfect wine. The 24-hour room service was also a welcome surprise. The spa facilities are beautiful. There are two outdoor jacuzzis, one inside, and a large heated pool, along with wet and dry saunas. We had a few massages and they were mostly very good. If there is one thing to improve, it would be to raise the temperature of their spa facilities. The jacuzzis and the steam room felt mostly lukewarm, which makes it difficult to achieve any kind of therapeutic effect. Finally, I’m happy to recommend this hotel to LGBT travellers. Never did my partner and I feel that we were disrespected or treated differently in any way. Thank you for a perfect experience. We can’t wait to return!
Jan 2020We had a perfect ski holiday at L'Armancette! It was exactly what we were looking for. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. We loved the small town and walking distance to the ski lift, along with ski lockers in the hotel. The staff takes pride in all they do. Our family room was the perfect size for the 3 of us and very comfortable. The restaurant was amazing and we enjoyed it immensely. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
Dec 2019We stayed there to celebrate a special occasion and the WHOLE staff were very attentive, thoughtful and extremely friendly. Alessandra from the concierge desk did a magnificent job planning our stay and making everything super easy and fun!! I must say that the whole reception staff, housekeeping and porters did not fail to make our stay a memorable one. Merci!
